We are McVea Insulation owned by Rachel and Kris McVea, a small local family owned business located in Omaha, Nebraska.Our family’s insulation company was the first fiberglass insulation company in Omaha opening in 1936 by Kris’s great-great Uncle Turner Carlisle.
The business has serviced the Omaha and Midwest area for generations offering high quality services and products with impeccable customer service and reliability. In 2019 we became McVea insulation,continuing with the same quality service our family has been known for for generations.

Owners
Kris and wife Rachel McVea are native to the Omaha area and have lived there all their life. Kris is a fourth generation insulation installer. His great uncle Turner Carlisle started the first fiberglass insulation company in Omaha in 1936 on Saddle Creek Road under the name Carlisle Insulation. The business was then passed down to Kris’s grandfather Ken McVea who moved the company to 5016 Woolworth Avenue. Kris’s father Dave McVea was then passed the company in 1991. Kris grew up in the insulation business. He started working alongside his father when he was 15 years old and has accumulated the most knowledge and expertise over many in the field. He has trained and educated many employees on proper insulation installment and doing the job right the first time. When Kris inherited the company it was renamed McVea Insulation. It continues offering the Midwest area the same consistent high quality service and competitive prices it has for generations. Today, Kris and Rachel reside in Omaha with their 3 daughters.
